Attention: we are not coming home, please send our families, and our pillows!
We have been without internet these past few days so we’ll do some catching up tonight.
Words fail at a time like this. You simply cannot imagine how wonderful this place is and how beautiful and playfully loving these girls are. They truely have captured our hearts…every one of us.
Each evening, when the girls come home from school, we play. And I mean we REALLY play. I have sweated like never before. But even more beautiful and life-altering were the prayers that we shared tonight with the girls.
We sang to them and they sang to us. Then we asked if they would pray for us and allow us to pray for them. All 64 girls rose to their knees and prayed more passionately and fervently than you can imagine. We just basked in their prayers knowing that God must have been listening extra attentively. For several minutes this went on; sincere prayers from all 64 girls at the same time.
Then we got down on our knees and prayed for them and sang a song over them. It was incredibly moving, bringing several of us to tears and the rest of us to the brink.
I really cannot do justice to just how much these beautiful girls have made their way into our hearts. Arun and Shobba along with the six caretakers are amazing giving the girls not just food and an education but also love, love, and more love.
Perhaps you will want to come back with us…or perhaps you’ll want to accompany our pillows…we’ll keep the light on for you.
…and my heart is aching just wishing I was there with you. My momma-heart wants to hug every one of those girls. I’m so thrilled for all of you. And…Hayley…you are awesome! I can’t wait to see your pictures! Much love to you all…

I’m beyond the brink…. and how wonderful that God has provided the perfect role for Hayley. He’s so faithful.
Pass out some extra hugs for me and please know that we are fervently praying with you also. What a blessing this note is!

Oh how this warms my heart. I am thankful that the ministry of NFC reaches around the world, and that right now our arms and hearts are reaching through the India team. The mystery of ministry is that while reaching out and touching others, we end up getting touched ourselves. What an honor!
Thanks for sharing and caring on our behalf.

Wait for me Lisby, we’re coming with you.
This is really beautiful – life-affirming for you and for the girls you’re playing with. How many of them can you get in your suitcases? Share our blessings with Arun and Shobha for their amazing ministry.
